A representative from the band claims that this slurring, near-dead rant came from Weiland being exhausted and having "a literal fistful of Quaaludes couple drinks" before the show started. We'll just leave all that up to your interpretation. The rest of us will take a passing wave at the 90s rock going by.
Something strange happened at the 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards Sunday night.
Reese Witherspoon was in the middle of presenting the award for best actor in a supporting film role when a technical error caught her off guard.
A jarring audio clip of an apparent applause track started playing for a few seconds before it was quickly turned it off.
“What was that noise?” she asked. “It wasn’t me.”
Both Witherspoon and the confused audience laughed it off and moved right along. But what if that laughter was fake too?
Maybe everyone in the room was actually just a robot clone and everything about the SAG Awards was fabricated? We may never know.
